You can then close your eyes, relax, and have a mini-break from the stress around you. You can listen to each episode as often as you need to.

HypnoSOS episode 112 – Stress Less

Sit down or lie down if you haven’t already… and close your eyes… Make yourself comfortable and focus in on your breath… allow your breathing to settle into a natural pattern… breathe calmly… deeply… let your breathing find its own level… and you can move your attention from your breath onto the sound of my voice… simply the sound, not the words, not the pauses… just the sound… and allow that sound… to comfort you… to give you a little peace… to help you to stress less… for the sound of my voice… simply the sound of my voice… will help you to relax… and in relaxing to take control of your inner environment… your thoughts… your feelings… your responses… and… as it does so… to help you to let go of the things which in the past may have bothered or disturbed you…

For there are three things that are important in these moments… one is to release… release any of the thoughts or feelings that you’ve held onto that bothered or disturbed you… You can allow this to happen naturally without even thinking of what those thoughts might be… by just… taking a deep breath out… let those feelings go… and the next most important thing is to not let in any other thoughts or feelings that could disturb you… and the easiest way to do this is to just breathe in… peace… calm… a deep breath in… a moment of silence… with your eyes closed… just taking in from around you what you need… instead of the things that stress or disturb you… using your breath to take in the good from around you… and in taking all that is good from around you… and in letting go of anything that bothered or disturbed you… you begin to and continue to feel at peace… you’ll naturally stress less…

And the third important aspect is to create and strengthen a barrier around you… one that will help you to reinforce the positive within… and to prevent from the negative around you from penetrating through… and in these moments… in these few moments of listening to the sound of my voice… you can create these three aspects… allowing you to take in less of the things that stressed or disturbed you… allowing you to breathe out anything that did penetrate… and finally to reinforcing the barrier… physical… emotional… psychological… so that you are more grounded… calmer… more able to deal with anything… anybody… any situation… and above all able to focus on that which helps you stress less… to remember what’s important… to focus on the good things… to feel more in control… more able to deal with whatever you have to deal with on a daily basis… and to be able to strengthen yourself before these things happen… to predict them… and in predicting them… be prepared… and to take time… time to sleep deeply… to take time… to look after yourself… to take time to do the things that give you joy… make you happy… reinforce the positive… Take a moment now and allow this moment be one of the things that fulfills this… breathe deeply… breathe well…
[SILENCE]… and this strength… this feeling… will be with you in future… and you can listen to this audio again and reconnect whenever you need it… to create these feelings of strength… so you stress less…

And in a few moments in time I’m going to wake you… you will hear me count from 1 to 10… you will slowly come awake with each number… and at the count of 8 you will open your eyes… and by the count of 10 you'll be fully wide awake… every normal, healthy, and appropriate part of you back in the present… and remember the word present means gift…
These moments are your gift for your future… a future where you stress less… so ready… 1… 2… 3… more aware… 4… 5… 6… more alert… 7… 8… open your eyes now… stretch fully… 9… and 10… and you can smile… and you will stress less.
